This is one of the best science-based museums in the West. The main reason why this hall was established was to showcase the importance of technology in daily life. It was founded in the State Exposition Building in 1951.

This Centre was founded to help children understand how things operate. It offers a wide variety of exhibitions, interesting scientific perceptions, and up-to-date topics that ensure that learning takes place.

The California Science Centre, unlike other science institutions, provides enough interactive displays that allow you to move around, which are enough to serve a big audience on busier days. The most outstanding feature of this Centre is the Space Shuttle Endeavor that is displayed in the Samuel Oschin Pavilion. After the shuttle completed its last voyage, it was taken to this center for exhibition. To go with it is the venture itself: its parts and the people on board, artifacts from the venture, and the external fuel tank.

Other than the interesting displays, they also have an IMAX center which you can visit after all the science adventures. The place is equipped with a large screen and offers movies in 3D which makes the movies seem more real.

If you are visiting the center with children below 7 years, the Discovery rooms are more suited as they are structured to accommodate younger children.
