If you are someone who loves smaller quiet areas, then this is the place for you. Barclay Downs is a small area with lots of winding roads and beautiful homes. There are several single-family homes as well as condos and townhomes here, all at fairly affordable prices (compared to other parts of Charlotte).

People living in this area tend to be younger couples looking to settle down, families with young children, or older people preferring a calmer, quieter life. The crime rates for this area are low, and there isn’t much traffic without having to deal with rush hour issues (however, there isn’t much entertainment around either).
