Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station History
The original plan for Atlantic Station was to extend the existing downtown of Sandy Springs until it became clear that this would not work. The project then reimagined as a self-contained community with its own identity and sense of place. Since 1990, the city got cited by many sources as one of the most successful new communities in America, and it now has over 5,000 residents who call it home.
